Area53

Area53 in Mortsel is a 650 m all-electric indoor kart track built on multiple levels, with corners, elevation changes and LED effects — always dry. You can drive from age 10 (min. height 1.30 m) in the standard e-karts; kids from 6 (1.20 m) get dedicated kids karts, and a two-seater duokart lets an adult driver take a copilot from age 6.

A heat is 10 minutes of actual driving, helmet and briefing included, from €20 per session (online booking). Lap times are tracked with live timing, and the venue also runs Race Cups, a Kart Academy, stages and private track hire — all inside a complex that also houses bowling, simracing, indoor surfing and escape rooms.
