BattleKart Gent

BattleKart Ghent is an electric karting centre combined with augmented-reality gaming, located at Vliegtuiglaan 18 in Ghent. The 5,000 m² complex features two 2,000 m² tracks, each holding up to 12 karts at once, with bonuses, obstacles and game scenery projected live onto the floor in real time. Sessions last 15 minutes including boarding and unboarding, and are open to anyone at least 1.45 m tall, with no minimum age.

No helmet is required: the electric karts run an anti-collision system with automatic braking, so only a seatbelt is needed. The centre offers six game modes (BattleRace, BattleColor, BattleSnake, BattleVirus, BattleFoot, BattlePool), corporate team-building packages from 12 people with a meeting room and panoramic bar, and a free game for the guest of honour at bachelor/bachelorette parties and birthdays who shows up in costume.
