Circuit du Bugey
About Circuit du Bugey
Circuit du Bugey, in Château-Gaillard in the Ain, boasts one of France's largest layouts: a 1,700 m outdoor track, technical and fast, that splits into two independent circuits for a total of six possible configurations. Adults drive Sodikart RT8 karts (Honda 390 cc, 13 hp) from age 14, while children aged 7 to 13 (from 1.30 m) run in Sodikart LR5 karts (Honda 200 cc, 7 hp), with a fitted helmet, head cover and neck brace provided.
A 10-minute session costs €25 for adults and €17 for children, with two-session packs and a 50% discount on the second session on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The track is open daily (9am-12:30pm and 1:30pm-7pm in summer, until 6pm in winter); booking is strongly recommended. For groups, Bugey offers "F3 / F2 / F1" Grands Prix from 8 drivers, team endurance races, a quiz room and full-site privatisation, with seminar rooms for up to 200 people and works-council (CSE) ticketing.
