Kartbahn Racing

Kartbahn Racing bills itself as Atlantic Canada's premier karting destination. It began in Halifax's North End before moving to the Bayers Lake Industrial Park in 2005, and now runs an outdoor track on fresh asphalt spanning 0.6 km, Nova Scotia's newest outdoor karting facility. It sits at 200 Prospect Road in Goodwood (official mailing address Halifax, B3P 1T2), right next to the Halifax Exhibition Centre.

Sessions run for 10 minutes of timed racing within a 15-minute scheduled slot, with a target lap time around 50 seconds. Only single-seat karts are offered (no dual-person karts yet), and drivers must be at least 4'6" (137 cm) tall. The venue is currently walk-in only, with no online booking, and also runs group packages (from 5 to 200 people): exclusive facility rental, stag and stagette parties, corporate socials, Grand Prix races with trophies, endurance races and fundraising events.
