Karting du Laquais

Karting du Laquais, in Champier (Isère), offers a 900 m outdoor track with plenty of elevation change, set between Lyon and Grenoble (about 40 minutes from each). You race a fleet of 25 thermal Sodi GT4 270 cc karts, with top speeds of 75 km/h and a latest-generation timing system displayed trackside. The activity is open from age 14 and 1.40 m; helmet and race suit are provided.

A 10-minute timed session costs €25 (€45 for two heats, €65 for three), with booking strongly recommended. For groups and companies, the circuit — a driving school since 1993 — runs Trophy, Challenge and Super Challenge formats (from 8 drivers), 2-hour team relay endurance races, and SKDL teen driving courses. It hosts seminars, team building, birthdays and stag/hen parties for up to 80 people, with the 200 m² Fernand Moulin reception room at the Laquais Center.
