KartSport Dunedin

KartSport Dunedin is a karting club located at North Taieri, beside the Taieri Golf Club, close to the bottom of Three Mile Hill. The club was established in the early 1960s. Members originally raced on farmers' paddocks, travelled to Invercargill and Christchurch, and used Tahuna Park and 'E' shed at the railway yards for events until the late 1970s.

At that time, eleven club members funded the purchase of Fulton Hogan's disused gravel pit on Milners Road and became the club's Founding Members. The raceway was developed through to the mid-1980s, and the club officially opened on its present site in 1984. The clubrooms were replaced in 1997, the track was extended in 2004 and the entire circuit was re-sealed in 2005.
