Karting de Royan operates an outdoor track 600 m long and 8 m wide, homologated by the FFSA every 4 years and by the Préfecture, located near the Médis aerodrome in Charente-Maritime. The site describes tight corners, long curves and long straights, and the use of TECPRO barriers in strategic areas. Four kart fleets are offered according to the driver's age: the FUNKART (from 7 years old completed and over 1.30 m), the SUPERFUN (13 years old and over 1.50 m, up to 70 km/h), the MASTER (experienced or licensed adults, 90 km/h) and a two-seater, open to people over 1.20 m, the driver being required to hold a driving licence or be accustomed to the sport. The karts are fitted with retractable pedals, an adjustable seat, protective bodywork and remote controls allowing speed regulation and engine shut-off. A safety briefing is given and a leisure-homologated karting helmet is provided. A session lasts 10 minutes in 4-stroke karts and 8 minutes in 2-stroke karts. Sessions are supervised by two state-qualified marshals, the team being made up of state-qualified (BPJEPS) instructors and mechanics.

Opening hours vary by season: daily from 10:00 to 20:00 during the summer holidays (children have priority from 10:00 to 15:00, the TRIKE from 12:00 to 14:00 and 18:00 to 20:00 by reservation only), daily from 14:00 to 17:30 during the February and All Saints holidays, daily from 10:00 to 12:00 and 14:00 to 19:00 during the Easter holidays; outside school holidays, from 14:00 to 17:30 on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays in March, September and October, and from April to June from 14:00 to 19:00 on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, and from 10:00 to 12:00 and 14:00 to 19:00 on Saturdays and Sundays. Booking is made online on the "Billetterie" page, 12 hours in advance, otherwise by phone on 0650954086. The site offers driving courses in 4-stroke and 2-stroke karts for children from 8 years old, led by BPJEPS-approved instructors, with driving sessions and theory classes. For groups and companies: reception room, seminar, catering, timing system with on-screen tracking, tailor-made challenges from 5 people in endurance-with-relay or individual Grand Prix format, activities by appointment (birthdays, stag and hen parties, retirement parties, team building) and the option to privatise the track. A group booking deposit of €50.00 is required. From 15 July to 25 August, given the high attendance, only timed sessions are offered.
