Railway Karting

Railway Karting is a go-karting circuit at 48 Cookstown Rd, Magherafelt, Northern Ireland (BT45 7QF), also described by the operator as located in and around Moneymore. The track is floodlit for night sessions, with an LED communication system and an app-based timing system that records lap times to the nearest thousandth of a second. Karting is open from age 8, with three kart categories by age: Junior karts (160cc) for 8 to 11 year-olds, Medium karts (200cc) for 12 to 15 year-olds, and Adult karts (270cc) from age 16.

Public opening hours are Friday 12:00 to 21:00 and Saturday and Sunday 9:00 to 18:00, with Monday to Wednesday reserved for private bookings of 15 people or more and a minimum spend of £30 per person; the operator notes that hours and days can vary with the season. Arrive & Drive sessions run from one to four 15-minute heats, priced separately for adults and kids, alongside Grand Prix formats, Corporate packages, birthday packages for 8 to 12 year-olds, and stag and hen parties. A helmet and race suit are provided with a safety briefing, while balaclavas and gloves must be worn and can be bought online or on the day, or brought from a previous visit; sensible closed-toe shoes are required.
