Warburg Kart Track (Rotax Mojo Raceway)
About Warburg Kart Track (Rotax Mojo Raceway)
Rotax Mojo Raceway in Warburg is the home track of EDKRA (Edmonton & District Kart Racing Association), a non-profit club run entirely by members and volunteers since it was founded in 1972. Located in Warburg, Alberta, on land next to the former St. Albert track, the current 1.1 km circuit was built in 2009-2010 and hosted its first race on September 18-19, 2010. The venue runs 12 to 14 race events per year and offers RV camping spots, washrooms with showers and a large open field area.
Unlike a typical walk-in rental track, there are no continuous public opening hours: member drivers bring their own competition kart. The entry point for a non-member visitor is the Try-A-Kart program, a roughly 2 to 2.5-hour session (Cadet class 8-10, or Standard 11+) combining a 30-45 minute classroom briefing with several 3-10 minute on-track outings, using a Briggs L206 kart with helmet, race suit, rib vest and gloves provided. Dates are limited through the year and must be booked online in advance.
