Grampian Kart Club

Grampian Kart Club is an owner-driver karting club based at Boyndie Drome in Banff, Aberdeenshire, on Scotland's north-east coast. Run entirely by volunteers, the club welcomes competitors from age 6 upward across classes ranging from Bambino to Rotax Max and KZ2 gearbox karts, and it offers a route to a Motorsport UK race licence through its own ARKS examiner. Members pay an annual fee for track access outside race events, and the racing calendar includes the Boyndie Drome Open Challenge alongside rounds of the Scottish Championship and Scottish Super Series.

Alongside its owner-driver racing programme, the club runs pre-booked hire kart sessions on selected dates for anyone 15 and over, using 390cc Sodi karts capable of up to 50mph on the 850-metre circuit. Sessions run in a morning or an afternoon block, with helmet, suit and gloves provided and a deposit required to confirm a booking. Spectating and parking are free, and the club lists live timing through Speedhive and Alpha Timing for its competitive events.
