Rennring Magdeburg
About Rennring Magdeburg
Rennring Magdeburg is described on its own site as the largest indoor karting track in Saxony-Anhalt. The facility covers about 7,000 sqm of wind- and weather-independent space. The track is around 500 metres long and 10 metres wide. The youngest drivers, from 8 years old and at least 1.40 m tall measured without shoes, drive the RIMO-MINI kart. Race mode (Rennmodus) and tournament mode (Turniermodus) require a minimum age of 14 and a height of 1.55 m. Personal helmets are accepted only as full-face helmets; motocross helmets, open-face helmets and goggles are not allowed.
Karting is only possible with a racing licence / customer card, which must be brought along on every visit; issuing it requires a completed liability declaration (separate PDF forms for ages 8-17 and for 18 and over), signed by a legal guardian for minors before the first drive. The customer card costs 2.00 € and a balaclava 3.00 € as possible extras. Booking is mandatory and is made only through the online calendar; for bookings of more than 20 people, e-mail is also possible. Published prices are 17.00 €, 31.50 € and 47.00 € per 10-, 20- and 30-minute session for Trainingsfahrten from 14 years old, and 14.00 € and 28.00 € per 10- and 20-minute session for Trainingsfahrten for ages 8 to 13.
